The responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:


Assist and lead the research, revising, and editing of IT Security policies and procedures; Assimilate DOC level requirements for C&A and provide guidance to other operating units:
Demonstrate ability to communicate with and distill information from technical resources during formal and informal meetings.
Exposure to Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and software development project/technology terminology as it relates to Information Security/Information Assurance.
Strong organizational, planning and analytical skills to ensure efficient and consistent technical documentation
Develop policies and procedures from an enterprise perspective.
Experience reviewing, and updating, and developing certification and accreditation documentation in accordance with NIST Guidance.
Understanding and experience using of various security related exploits and tools.
Experience using System Security/Vulnerability Scanners/Sniffers
Qualifications



3-10 years experience in C&A of Federal Information Systems applying the NIST Guidelines and Standards. DITSCAP/DIACAP/Etc. experience may also apply. Strong MS Office and Adobe products skills. Excellent writing and oral communication skills. Self motivated and able to work in an independent manner or as part of a team. Able to work in a fast pace deadline driven environment.

Education Requirements


Security and Project Certifications recommended (I.E. CISSP, PMP, CISA, IAM, Etc.).
Able to obtain a Security Clearance (Not required but highly recommended).
Bachelor’s degree (Masters preferred) in information systems/security, computer science, management or related field.
Must be a US citizen.
